Mt Buller Alpine Resort is approximately 270km (or three hours drive)north-east of Melbourne. Head north on the Hume Highway (M31) to Seymour (95km), then travel east on the Goulburn Valley Highway (B340) and Maroondah Highway (B300) for another 130kms through Yea until you reach Mansfield. Mount Buller is 45km from here. Please note it is compulsory to carry wheel chains when entering te Mt Buller Alpine Resort during the winter ski season.

The Grimus Restaurant offers superb, modern Australian cuisine and traditional Austrian specialities, fine wines, excellent service and hospitality and is beautifully set in elegant European surroundings. The menu changes regularly presenting a memorable array of dishes using only the freshest produce delivered direct from the Melbourne markets. Open nightly for dinner from 6.00 pm and for lunch at weekends between 12 noon and 2.00pm. Also open daily for breakfast from 7.30am to 9.30 am. Room service is available every day between 12noon and 2.00pm and from 6.00pm to 9.00pm.

Area Attractions
Majestc mountain scenery of the Alpine National Park and Lake Eildon National. The spectacular Mt Buller Alpine Resort reaches 1805 metres and boasts 180 hectares of excellent alpine skiing terrain, the longest being 2.5 km. The slopes vary from gentle for beginners to some very challenging runs. There are also 9km of easily accessed cross-country trails. With 25 ski lifts, Mt Buller has one of the most advanced lift systems in the country which can take up to 40,000 people per hour, so there is no waiting around.
